Farewell President Hinckley

As many of you may know, President Hinckley died today at the age of 97. He led an amazing life and I'll always think of him as the prophet of my youth. What better life can a person lead--he was such a great example for all of us to follow. He'll be greatly missed!

Baby Shower and Sista Wedding

As promised, I have posted pictures! Last Thursday was my baby shower and it was amazing! Thank you to Megan, her mom, and my aunt/cuz for throwing it! Lots of fun family and friends were there and needless to say, Brooklyn will be better dressed than her parents. People were far too generous and sweet! We appreciate all the hard work that went into the cute shower invites and also the yummy food-lemon bars and mini strawberry cupcakes were my fav! THANKS AGAIN!

This was a cake that I helped my mom make, it's kinda hard with only two hands...I think it turned out just perfect! Thanks Mom I love it...I still have it displayed on my kitchen sink and can't wait to actually use the diapers!

The amazing food before the party started, minus one salad. The punch and home made rolls were really good too! Which reminds me...I still want the recipes.

This was what I saw when I first walked in to the shower...I'm telling ya...Brooklyn is going to be so spoiled!!!

My best friend Megan! She spent two hours by my side helping record how generous people had been! Thanks for being patient Megs!

I found these on my camera and decided to post them as well! Isn't it so dreamy! My sis had a gorgeous afternoon garden reception.

The fire ring which was a huge success! Everyone was here or by the food all night!
Some of the bridesmaids before the party started.

I just really love AZ sunsets! They are more beautiful than words can explain. I keep telling Brad that one of my life long dreams is to be a photographer and then use water colors or oil paint what I take pics of! One day, one day... And this my friends...is why AZ is my fav place to live!

THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS...

Well, this will be a pictureless post, but I hope to post again soon when I have some fun pictures to share. Anyways, I just had to say that it is officially three weeks (21 days) until Valentine's Day which means three weeks until my valentine arrives! (I'm now 37 weeks and still feel great-even golfed 9 holes in Payson on Sat) But yes, I actually wouldn't mind an early Valentine...but if I'm like my mother....it'll be a late one. I'm so excited because tonight my best friend Megan and her mom and my aunt and cousin are throwing me a baby shower! YAY for parties! I'm still the in the process of getting the babies room together, but I haven't had much time to think about it because we are watching some of my cousins all this week and I am either at work or at their house. So my big goals for next week are: BABY ROOM: De-clutter the closet, hang up some shelves and curtains, maybe get vinyl lettering, and hang up Brooklyn's name in letters above her crib. Can't wait for Brooklyn to arrive!!!!!
